SHORT FILM MARGINALIA

Kendall wrote and directed her first short film Marginalia. Shot in NYC in May by DP John Painz, the film stars the incomparable Glynis Bell and Jerry Matz.



DEMO RECORDING OF TIMOTHY CRATCHIT

Kendall and the rest of the cast of The Astonishing Times of Timothy Cratchit had the great pleasure of recording all the songs from the musical in White Plains in March. Hear songs from Allan Knee's and Andre Catrini's fantastic musical here.

 

STORY HOUR PREMIERE

Only Child Aerial Theatre and The Muse Brooklyn present Story Hour, an aerial/acrobatic journey of childhood, old age, imagination, and nostalgia directed by Nicki Miller and Rowen Haigh and created and choreographed with the ensemble. THE ASTONISHING TIMES OF TIMOTHY CRATCHIT

Kendall is thrilled to appear as Miss Tulips and Momo in the new musical The Astonishing Times of Timothy Cratchit by Allan Knee (book) and Andre Catrini (music & lyrics)! Directed by Thomas Cote, the musical runs at Workshop Theater (312 W. 36th St) December 3-19, 2015. Click here for more info!

ASYLUM KICKS OFF BURNING COAL SEASON

ASYLUM, co-created by Kendall Rileigh and Nicki Miller, will make its world premiere at Burning Coal Theatre in Raleigh, NC October 15 - November 1, 2015. The aerial theatre production is directed by Miller and features Sloan Bradford, Deon Releford-Lee, Mikaela Saccoccio, and Samantha Sterman in addition to Miller and Rileigh. Walken Schweigart is the main composer, and Grammy-nominated artist Sophie B. Hawkins has written an original song for the production. Click here for more info!



FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE OPENS IN BUFFALO

For Heaven's Sake, a new play by Laura Pedersen that ran 10 sold-out weeks off Broadway last fall under the title The Brightness of Heaven, will open the season at 710 Main in Buffalo, NY September 17 - October 4, 2015. INJUNCTION GRANTED AT METROPOLITAN PLAYHOUSE

The Obie Award-winning Metropolitan Playhouse presents the Federal Theater Project play Injunction Granted May 29 - June 28, 2015. Alex Roe directs. Kendall did the acrobatics for the show and also performs. Click here for details!



OFF BROADWAY PREMIERE OF THE GROUNDLING

Marc Palmieri's The Groundling makes its world premiere at Axis Theatre February 11 - March 8, 2015. Palmieri directs a cast that includes Robert Ierardi, Eva Kaminsky, Brian Barnhart, Kendall Rileigh, Emily Kratter, Benjamin Russell, and Jerry Matz. Click here for more info and tickets!

OFF BROADWAY PRODUCTION OF THE BRIGHTNESS OF HEAVEN

Kendall is thrilled to play Kathleen in the off Broadway production of the new play The Brightness of Heaven by Laura Pedersen. The play is directed by Ludovica Villar-Hauser and will run at the Cherry Lane Theatre October 16 - December 14. Click here for more info and tickets!



AERIAL THEATRE PRODUCTION OF ASYLUM

Only Child Aerial Theatre presents the premiere of their full-length aerial theatre piece ASYLUM, which was awarded a Community Arts Fund Grant from the Brooklyn Arts Council. Nicki Miller and Kendall Rileigh, co-founders of Only Child, created ASYLUM in collaboration with Sloan Bradford, Samantha Sterman, Craig Whitehouse, and a wonderful team of designers and colleagues. BROADWAY PRODUCTION OF GOLDA'S BALCONY

Kendall is understudying 4-time Tony nominee Tovah Feldshuh in the Broadway touring production of Golda's Balcony by William Gibson. This riveting portrait of Golda Meir ran for 15 sold-out months on Broadway and remains the longest running one-woman show in Broadway history. Kendall had the great pleasure of performing the role at Theater J in Washington DC on April 23 and 24, 2014.



NY TIMES PRAISES KENDALL IN A MAN'S WORLD

Kendall is singled out by the New York Times as "a welcome and complicated exception" as Clara in A Man's World by Rachel Crothers at the Metropolitan Playhouse. Read the review here.

BUNNER SISTERS

Kendall plays Ann Eliza Bunner in a stage adaptation by Linda Selman of Edith Wharton's novella Bunner Sisters at the Metropolitan Playhouse. It runs January 14, 2014 @ 7pm, 18 @ 1pm, 23 @ 7pm, and 25 @ 7pm. Directed by Selman, the cast also includes Nora Armani, Caitlin Davies, Michael Hardart, Anita Keal, Mary Lauren, and Julia Ryan.



SHORT FILM TWINKLE

Kendall plays Candice, a cancer survivor, in the short film Twinkle by Bee & Cee Productions. She was thrilled to work with director Rosalyn Coleman and producer Craig Williams (of Red Wall Productions) and a fantastic cast and crew. For more on the film, see www.twinklethemovie.com.

SHORT FILM DROWNING

Director Adam J. Thompson cast Kendall to play a Virginia Woolf-esque subject in his eerie black-and-white experimental short Drowning. Thanks to Adam and Mitch Dean for a really fun (and really cold!) shoot.



SERIES REGULAR ON OFF OFF

Kendall is cast as series regular Bethany (the intern) in Stephen Bittrich's web series Off Off. The series follows a fictional off off Broadway theater company and the diehard thespians who make it happen. Kendall had a blast shooting episodes 1, 4, & 5 and looks forward to hopefully many more! SHORT FILM ANGUISH

30 ROCK DEBUT

Kendall makes her primetime debut on NBC's 30 ROCK as Mirandor. She was thrilled to work with Tina Fey and director Jeff Richmond. The episode "The Ballad of Kenneth Parcell" will air January 26, 2012 at 9PM.

BEST ACTRESS AWARD

Kendall won the Best Actress Award at the New Bern Independent Filmmakers' Conference on October 29 for her work in the feature Eight Lessons in Living Together. The film, produced by Turnip LLC, also won for Best Director (Jim McQuaid), Best Score (Jay Manley), and Best Romantic Comedy.



THE GALLERIST READING

Kendall will read the role of Lucille Plover in a staged reading of Fengar Gael's British thriller The Gallerist on October 27, 2011 at the Directors Company Studio, 311 W. 43rd Street, Floor 3. The reading, directed by Deborah Savadge, is part of Resonance Ensemble's Fall Reading Series.

AERIAL TEXT EXPERIMENTS

Kendall is performing as an actor/aerialist in Sylvia Plath's "Mad Girl's Love Song" as part of Circus Warehouse's Aerial Text Experiments September 24 at 8pm. Katie McHugh directs a cast that also includes Nolan McKew and Nicki Miller. Click here for more info!



WOMEN'S MINYAN AT THE CORE CLUB

One Circle Productions presents another industry reading series of Naomi Ragen's Women's Minyan September 19 at 7pm and September 26 at 3 and 7pm at the Core Club. Kendall plays Adina in a cast that includes Amelia Campbell, Kathleen Garrett, Amy Stiller, Zuzanna Szadkowski, and others. Tovah Feldshuh directs.

OFF BROADWAY READING OF EVEN

Kendall plays Lilly in a staged reading of Stephen Bittrich's play Even, "a dark 3-person yarn about Johnny, who lives as a recluse in a motel until a sexually precocious 17-year-old girl shows up with a connection to his past." The reading will be the Soho Playhouse on June 7 at 8pm. The cast also includes Amanda Dillard and Michael Laurence (Krapp 39, Talk Radio). Click here for more info.

HAPPINESS AT THE DRILLING COMPANY

Kendall appears as Stella in Stephen Bittrich's Jubilation, Mississippi as part of the Drilling Company series Happiness. The production runs May 12-29 at the Drilling Company Theatre, 236 W. 78th St. Katie McHugh directs.



SAVAGE IN LIMBO EXTENDS OFF BROADWAY!

After a completely sold out 4-week run, John Patrick Shanley's comedy Savage in Limbo is extending off Broadway through March 27. The show is produced by Rosalind Productions and The Platform Group and directed by Brian Tom O'Connor. Kendall plays April. Click here for more info!

THE ORPHEUS VARIATIONS

Kendall continues aerial silks training in preparation to play Eurydice in Deconstructive Theatre Project's The Orpheus Variations. Directed by Adam J. Thompson and featuring aerial choreography by Nicki Miller and an original score by The Shivers, the production integrates live performance, aerial silk choreography, interactive video/projection, and live music to examine the myth(s) of Orpheus and Eurydice. EIGHT LESSONS WINS BEST NARRATIVE FEATURE

Independent feature Eight Lessons in Living Together by Jim McQuaid and Darrell Parker won Best Narrative Feature at the Columbia Gorge International Film Festival near Portland, Oregon. The film (released June 2010) stars Kendall as Tatum and Darrell Parker as Roger. Click here for the film's website!

THE DRUNKARD

Kendall is excited to be cast as Agnes and the Fiddler in W. H. Smith's temperance drama The Drunkard. Directed by Frank Kuhn, the play runs at the Metropolitan Playhouse September 18 - October 17. This production marks the play's first New York revival in 15 years. Click here for more details!



ANOTHER PART OF THE FOREST EXTENDS OFF BROADWAY

NATIONAL PSA

Kendall booked a national PSA for Partnership for a Drug-Free America. The spot was shot at the World Trade Center site in June and will air soon.


NEW RADIO SERIES THE ALIENS

Kendall voices the Russian character Adriana on the new radio series The Aliens airing Saturdays at noon on WBAI 99.5FM in NYC. The Aliens is one of few radio dramas to hit US airwaves since the Golden Age of Radio ended in 1962! Click here for more details.

WOLFBANE READING

Kendall plays Destiny in a staged reading of Jeff Carey's Wolfbane on April 26, 2010 at 4:30pm at Roy Arias Studios (300 W. 43rd, Floor 6). Wolfbane is the story of a man who, claiming to be a werewolf, offers his life savings to a prostitute in exchange for human love. Chicago Reader called it "funny, erotic, sad, romantic, and unromantic all at once... exquisite poetry." The reading is directed by Frank Kuhn and also features Charlie Thurston.


SEX & VIOLENCE

Kendall plays Molly in Travis Baker's twisted dark comedy Sex & Violence. The play Runs February 7-28, 2010 at The Mint Theater (Theater 3), 311 West 43rd St. Click here for more info.
